I'm gonna use this continuous fiber 3D printing technology for my next project and I have a similar problem with turning sketches in Sketchbook into 3D models for 3D printing.

I'm trying to find a simple way to turn sketches in Sketchbook into 3D models for 3D printing. I've been doing a lot of research into this and can't seem to find a simple way. I know copying your image into a CAD software is an option, but I would love to figure out a more direct way that doesn't involve having to 'trace' over the image.

Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated!!

There isn't really a tool that can do that. The closest thing is a VR design Application like Alias Create VR. It is part of the Alias Family of products.

Well there is an app which does something like that.
It's called uMake and it's available for iOS.
https://www.umake.xyz/

It's very simple and intutiv and it's a fast way to start.

Just have a look.

But beeing honest. If you want to make awesome 3D models or technical stuff I don't think that you will find a really easy and fast forward solution.
