Software (Maya 2017) already installed, but in another HDD that died

Hello,

So I had Maya 2017 installed on a separate hard drive that recently died on me. Now the problem I'm facing is that Autodesk thinks that it's already installed, leaving me unable to install it. I really need it for school and I don't know what to do anymore. I've tried the software to uninstall stuff but it keeps getting stuck trying to find a solution to something. I've gone around in the registry and deleted what I could find about Maya, still nothing.

Maybe if someone could indicate me all the things to delete? I'd really appreciate some help or else I won't be able to do my homework...

Welcome. Try the following steps one of the links will show you what to uninstall.

Conduct a Clean Uninstall of the application & use the MSfixitTool to complete it
Reboot the computer & log in as Administrator
Quit all Autodesk applications or uninstall them as well
Clean out the TEMP folder. To open the TEMP folder, type %TEMP% in the address bar of Windows Start Menu and hit Enter (Windows)
Temporarily disable security settings like Antivirus, Firewall & UAC on your Windows operating system
Use the Browser Download Method in your Autodesk Account

I think, may be its cache issue.

Please try this

Exit ADA(from system tray menu)
Stop AdAppMgr Service (windows task manager)
%Programdata% > Autodesk > Delete the “SDS” folder
Restart ADA.

Still you have problem, please try this,

Uninstall ADA
Install latest ADA from here https://emsfs.autodesk.com/utility/adskapp/landing/?source=AKN

I hadn't noticed the browser download option, Maya managed to install itself after an ADA uninstall, pluis it detected the license, thank you
