      <description>&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi everyone.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have the error when I try to use the Autodesk Desktop App. When I open it I only see this screen:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-center" image-alt="loading screen - Copy.png" style="width: 686px;"&gt;&lt;img src="https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/469051iD8FE0B75B311E9BE/image-size/large?v=v2&amp;amp;px=999" role="button" title="loading screen - Copy.png" alt="loading screen - Copy.png" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;And that's all. &lt;P&gt;Please try to run through the following steps below to resolve this it seems have, blockage from a application running in the background&amp;nbsp;or you may need to reinstall the app after conducting these steps.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;OL&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Reboot the computer &amp;amp; log in as Administrator&amp;nbsp;&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Clean out the TEMP folder. To open the TEMP folder, type %TEMP% in the address bar of Windows Start Menu and hit Enter&amp;nbsp;(Windows)&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;&lt;A href="https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/17228/windows-protect-my-pc-from-viruses" target="_blank"&gt;Temporarily disable security settings&lt;/A&gt; like Antivirus, Firewall &amp;amp; &lt;A href="https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/975787/guided-help-adjust-user-account-control-settings-in-windows-7-and-wind" target="_blank"&gt;UAC&lt;/A&gt; on your Windows operating system&lt;/LI&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Well, unfortunately, we cannot disable the antivirus, even &lt;SPAN style="direction: ltr;"&gt;temporarily, for obvious reasons.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="direction: ltr;"&gt;If I cannot use a software due to the antivirus, I better not use it at all.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="direction: ltr;"&gt;Thank you.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

In case of the local user profile, it will show you the path like "C:\users\your username\appdata\roaming\".&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Roaming profile directs you to different location like "\\servername\profiles\your username\appdata\roaming".&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

If not, well, I think is affordable to forget about Desktop App altogether.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;About the log, I tried to send you a private message.       <description>&lt;P&gt;For anyone else stumbling across this... For me it was due to me accidentally disabling Autodesk services from starting. I did this as I normally do to "save" computer boot up time, but looks like AutoCad/Autodesk apps don't start the service when you do this&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;So, to fix, I had to login as an admin account, open Services (open start/search, type "Services"), then find anything that said "autodesk" and changed the startup type from "Disabled" to "Automatic (Delayed Start)". There were 3 services I had to do this to...&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Then I signed out and signed back in, and everything worked again!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The&lt;/P&gt;</description>
