AS3 with Scaleform

Hi!

I know that Scaleform included with Stingray is Lua only. Is it possible for a customer to implement Scaleform as a plugin and include support for ActionScript3? We have a ton of AS3 code that uses Scaleform. Thanks!

Yes, It is possible, however, you would need to do this with Source Access and would not be a trivial undertaking. For a good programmer maybe a few days of work.

Thanks Paul! So a couple days work is reasonable. Have any customers done this? Are there any significant drawbacks, e.g. performance?

I do not believe customers have done this before yet, no. It is rather uncharted territory, however, one of the engineers gave me the response I gave you (paraphrased) so i have the suggestion came from someone with an engineering background and is familiar with the products.
