i think thte the direct connection is only available with the last max and maya extensions. but you can export a fbx file in order to import it to stingray

Will there be a way to connect older version of Max to Stingray? I'm running Max 2013 and haven't found anything regarding a way to connect it to Stingray.

The live connection between max and Stingray is a nice feature but I don't want to spend more money than I already have on a modeling package that will not give me more than I already own. It would be nice if they supported some of the other Max versions. The live connection between the two makes the combo a little more attractive. Otherwise it's essentially just another game engine without benefits, no history and the downside of costing more than any of the other available and proven options.

I think I just talked myself out of Stingray.
