Hi.

I have a model based on the basic template that I have added extra audio events to. I'm using the same "sfx_spawn_sound" that is used on starting the main level and applying it to collisions. It works fine when testing the project. I've followed the guidance given on http://help.autodesk.com/view/Stingray/ENU/?guid=__stingray_help_working_with_audio_wwise_basics_load_sound_banks_html and packaged it for both Windows and HTM5. When I run the Windows EXE the sound plays. When I run the HTML5 package in a browser, no sound plays.

I've tried loading the default sound bank in both Flow and Lua. Both work when packaged for Windows, neither work when packaged for HTML5.

Any pointers or suggestions greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Alan

It sounds like you've done everything correctly. This may be an issue with Stingray. I will check with our engineering team and see if they can provide suggestions.

Lack of audio on HTML5 is expected as it is currently not implemented. Specifically, our web assembly does not support Wwise yet. This was because threading was not supported yet by web assembly.

Well, that's disappointing - but understood. I'll check into possible workarounds as well as see if I can find when webassembly might implement threading.

I appreciate the update, Ben - thanks.
