      <description>&lt;P&gt;i just recently learned about a new dimension mode however i cannot find it anywhere in my 2019 AutoCAD mechanical version. is it not available in mechanical? if it is where can i find it and add it to the dimension ribbon?&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;gt;&amp;gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;FONT color="#999999"&gt;&lt;EM&gt;i cannot find it anywhere in my 2019 AutoCAD mechanical version.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT color="#000000"&gt;make sure that you have an active ribbon up there at your CAD screen like the one in the image below , and you can get it by &lt;STRONG&gt;RIBBON&lt;/STRONG&gt; command , from &lt;U&gt;Annotate&lt;/U&gt; tab . also you can type _DIM command in the command line to get it . when you open Annotate tab some times &lt;U&gt;Tabs&lt;/U&gt; and &lt;U&gt;Panels&lt;/U&gt; are NOT there ... but you can get them by right click ( yellow star in the image ) and check them .&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Thanks for the _dim command line action and it does work if I type it in. I do have the ribbon and annotate panel but unfortunately i don't have this particular icon shown. i'm starting to think that this might only be available in Vanilla AutoCAD and not Mechanical (it looks like you're running standard and not Mechanical).
