&lt;P&gt;This is likely due to the fact that they are out of view in "Top" view, because as you mentioned they are vertical.&amp;nbsp;&lt;SPAN&gt;The edges of all 3D solids, surfaces, and meshes are projected in that line-of-sight &amp;amp; set view.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;You can try to make these adjustments:&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;UL&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;The Flatshoot command creates a 2D representation of 3D objects based on the current view so try a different one from the&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;3d Modeling &amp;gt; command VisualStyles drop down&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Change the color for the vertical members to make them easier to see&amp;nbsp;&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Make sure these members do not have any &lt;A href="https://blogs.autodesk.com/autocad/object-layer-transparency-exploring-features-benefits-autocad/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;Transparency applied&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Edit the block that was created from &lt;EM&gt;Flatshot&lt;/EM&gt; to make additional changes adding these vertical member manually&lt;/LI&gt;

      <title>flat shot not showing all edges</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;When taking a flat shot of my 3d model, many of the edges do not show up in the 2d image that is created.&amp;nbsp; All the lines that do not appear are vertical. Is this a bug, or is there a setting that can fix this.&amp;nbsp; Most of the edges are sections of a curved surface. attached is a screen image.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
