Most of the projects I work on are also single file, multiple layouts. Utilising SSM just streamlines the process of having to manage title blocks, sheet numbers, revisions, publishing and more. I'd suggest you look further into it. There are a lot of good tutorials on YouTube.
Saying that, using SSM to publish PDFs is extremely easy. As easy as, simply setting up the way you want the drawings to be plotted to DWG to PDF plotter, sheet size, etc., as you normally would, just shift or control clicking the sheets to want to plot (or the whole project), and selecting publish to PDF. It's that simple.

I know that there are other ways to plot multiple layouts to PDF, but we use Teamcenter to control our drawings. Teamcenter has a built in option to create an auxiliary file (in this case a PDF). It takes its instructions from whatever settings you choose when plotting with DWG to PDF. You choose your settings, hit Apply to Layout, hit cancel, and upload.

There is a work around of creating your own PDF and dropping it in Teamcenter, but this can get out of hand.

If anyone can point me in any potential direction to make this a possibility , I would be forever grateful.

Thank you for the reply, Alfred! These approaches work well for my work around, but every time I save changes back to Teamcenter, an additional one layout PDF is generated and no changes are made to the PDF that I've made with PUBLISH. Would you happen to know how I might go about making multi-layout printing an option while using the "DWG to PDF" plotter?

I usually use "Publish to PDF" option that's part of the Sheet Set Manager (SSM). If you use SSM to set up all of your projects, this is the easiest and most streamline way of exporting layouts to PDF, as well as cataloging drawings and managing title blocks.

• I use both model and paper space.

• I do use layouts. When I have only one layout in a file, I do not have any issues. With a file that has multiple layouts, the automated process that uses the "DWG to PDF" plotter only grabs the first layout. This is my issue. Having to use the "DWG to PDF" plotter is out of my control.

• I am not using a SSM because I'm keeping it to one file with multiple layouts. Maybe I don't understand SSM enough. If an SSM can somehow communicate information to the "DWG to PDF" plotter, that would be great.

• The title block was created in paper space and is saved in our layout templates.

If you plot anything from modelspace there is no automation available in the program for batch plotting and getting a consistent result.

You will need to go with a personal custom solution using LISP or other programming language available in AutoCAD.
