Hi,

Have any options to Rotate Dimension Grip Stretch to End Point ????

watch this video here

All Mtext are justify Top right, so i can easy select grip and move to Xline, Leader can also easy select grip and move to Xline. But Rotate Dimension cannot stretch to xline using grip, because grip is not in End point. If can remove Text from Rotate Dimension ??? or any autocad lisp routines

You can use TEXTALIGN to do that job all at once right?

If you are using dimensions only for graphical representation and not for dimesioning purpose, Why not make a dynamic block to suit your needs? This will make your task much simpler and will be more flexible.

Hi,

>> if you did not understand watch this video also

Thank you, that made it more clear.

If you move the text of a dimension then the dim-line is made longer then the text, I guess to make sure all text has a dim-line under itself. Sorry to not know if there is a parameter for that in the dimension-style, at least I have not found one.

I would not know a workaround (as long as you need to do this with dimensions) than measure the length of the overshoot (which is 45 in your objects (not tested all)) and move the text-grip point back by that length.

Thanks All

Solution Founded

Select Rotate Dimension in properties Text offset <0> Grip will be End Point.

here the video

Thanks

Hi,

>> properties Text offset

That's interesting, because TEXTOFFSET is the distance perpendicular to the dimension line

>>>here<<< it's shown with that sketch:

But good to know it works for you.
