I'm using LT 2019 and required to use Export PDF to output the finished documents.

At the moment, when I Export to PDF, Autocad tries to save the PDF in the folder for previously opened drawings and I have to manually locate the folder with the current drawing. Is there a setting to automatically export the PDF to the same folder as the drawing itself?

Using Publish (or similar methods) is not an option.

I did read the last line, but I don't know if you consider "AutoPublish" to be a "similar method". It does contain an option to print to the current drawing folder.

Once you export a file type to a destination folder it should stick to that until your next AutoCAD session. The first export will try to target a default location and typically needs focused where I prefer. It almost never focuses where the actual drawing file is located so you would have to navigate at least once during that session of running AutoCAD.

Hope that helps,

1. Export to PDF = print/publich to DWG To PDF.pc3

It is the same, not different.

2. Run script :

That's the way it works now, which I hope to avoid. I'll open a drawing for one project, make changes, then move to the next project, and if I export the PDF it goes into the first project folder, not the current, which I what I want to avoid.

Good Morning.

When I open Sheet Set for Project 1.

I set the output PDF file to print inside the same folder as Project 1 CAD files.

Works Great!

But I open Project 2.

I review the output folder for the PDF files and it reads the Project 1 CAD Files folder.

I change it to Project 2 folder. Works great.

Until I go back to Project 1 and now the output folder is Project 2.

How can I have it keep the locations of the individual Sheet Set files that are inside the CAD File Folders?

Thanks!!
