Sorry for my English, I'm using a translator. Today I needed to print the project in color and I came across a frustrating situation: The colors after exporting the project in pdf lose saturation and are different from the colors that were on the layers at the time of editing. I am attaching an image of the project and an image in pdf after export.

I see that you are visiting as a new member to the AutoCAD forum. Welcome to the Autodesk Community!

Can you share your file and the plot style you are using? Which PDF driver are you selecting? It appears that you might be using FoxIt. Have you tried the built-in DWG to PDF driver to see if performs differently?

1) None of your layouts are set to use MONOCHROME plot style tables

2) You are using RGB and other colors true colors: MONOCHROME.CTB does not work on these.

Solution: you need to remove all non-ACI colors from layers and objects and start using MONOCHROME.CTB in all of your layouts.

OR

Switch to using MONOCHROME.STB plot style tables like this https://www.landfx.com/docs/cad-basics/plotting/item/2096-stb.html#overview

Hi,

I can only confirm this issue, tried now with AutoCAD 2019.1.2, the colors are different (compared AutoCAD Plot-Preview and PDF/PDF XChange Viewer).

In the first seconds the thought "different lineweights on display" came to my mind, but looking to the grey of the hatch shows that it does not depend on linetypes.

Sorry, that I don't have a solution currently, but you are not alone, - alfred -

Hi @Anonymous,

I can duplicate what you are experiencing. I have actually logged this for the team previously.

To work around this limitation, I usually increase my resolution so the lines are not so thick and don't bleed into each other. Then I just adjust the hatching color by trial and error. For instance, I set the wall poche to 251 to get it a bit darker and increased the dpi for vector in the PDF driver to 2000 and it seems to give fairly good results.
