Hi @AEC_Cadd,

For the TDS 400, is your firmware fully updated? Please tell me your driver version. It appears that last driver from Oce (Canon) is from last June and can be found here.

There is a driver cleaning utility available here to remove old drivers.

Regarding the HP printers, you should be able to add the universal driver and point to the same devices without affecting the existing driver installations. Just treat the installation of this driver as a new printer.

I downloaded the trial ver. of AutoCad 2019 and found that it will not plot to either the HP on my desk or the three wide format plotters that we have in the office. Is that by design because it is a trial ver. ?

At this time I am using C3D 2018, Windows 10, 32 Gig Memory, solid state
hard drive. I am trying to plot to a HP 1050 large format printer or the
OCE large format plotter. I understand that the 1050s don't work well with
Windows 10 but the OCE has always worked great with any system. The HP
printer is a 6800 I believe - I am not in the office at this time - but it
works well with 2018 ver. When I try to plot, AutoCAd seems to hang up and
if I try to quit out of AutoCAD, it tells me that the printing file will be
cancelled. I have let it sit for 15 to 20 minutes and no plot is created.
I hope that the C3D 2019 will work better than the trial ver. of AutoCAd
2019.

Which Oce model are you using and which driver is involved? When you installed AutoCAD 2019 did you migrate your plot settings or create new PC3 files from scratch? Typically I like to create new PC3 files for new software installs. The CTB files typically survive a migration without any issues.

Please try printing to the System Printer of the Oce and not a PC3 file and see if that makes any difference.

The OCE is a TDS 400 wide format printer. Has always worked with every AutoCAD version. The printer on my desk is a HP8600 and that also won't plot. AutoCAD just hangs up when I try to print to it. I did migrate my plot settings. I am not using the old pc3 files. I have tried to print to the system printer of the OCE and same results. Just can't get anything to print. If I let it sit for 15 or 20 minutes, then cancel out of AutoCAD, I get the message "Closing your session will cancel the active plotting operation".

If the C3D 2019 is anything like the Trial Ver. of AutoCAD, we won't be able to use it and will have to stay with the 2018.

OK, then the problem is not likely the plotters but rather your installation of AutoCAD 2019. Is it able to produce a PDF using one of the built in PDF drivers? If not, I would Try a Reset Settings to Default.
