      <title>Extrude not making a solid</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I joined the parts, properties say it's planar and closed but still creates surface.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I exploded the join since i want to keep the straight lines as straight as possible, and if i join to the curve it'l be a spline&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;I had no problem creating a solid from the outline using PRESSPULL as suggested by&amp;nbsp;&lt;A href="https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/244300" target="_blank"&gt;@warren.geissler&lt;/A&gt;.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;[EXTRUDE vs. PRESSPULL depends on exactly what kind of result you're after.&amp;nbsp; EXTRUDE has the advantages over PRESSPULL that you can Extrude along a Path, or with Taper, if either of those is needed.&amp;nbsp; PRESSPULL has the advantage that you can do it on a shape bounded by more than one object as in your example, without a middle-man Region as in my suggestion.]&lt;/P&gt;</description>
