HI @Anonymous,

Is it possible to attach your file that refuses to retain your WipeOut frame setting in AutoCAD 2017? I would like to see if it behaves the same on my 2017. Please also tell me if you have fully updated your AutoCAD 2017.

[EDIT] When you mention color 255, do you mean 255,255,255 which is a true color for white?

Hi,

>> When I close the drawing and reopen-the default setting reverts back to 3. <<

usually this behavior noticed when there is a lisp routine or plug-ins installed to your system. you may need to look around if it's match your case.

Regards,

I believe ACAD 2017 is fully updated. This is happening with multiple files and I have attached one for your reference. You are correct with 255, 255, 255 -the true color for white.

Hi @Anonymous,

Your file is performing normally for me although when I run Audit it does find 21 errors. I, like Imad, suspect that you have something in your startup routines that is resetting the value.

How do I go about resolving this issue? Is there an alternate command or procedure which will provide the same effect? I do not have access to the administrative properties of AutoCAD as we have an AutoCAD specialist that loads this program and keeps it updated.

Hi @Anonymous,

You could perhaps create a macro or menu button that sets the variable every time you open the file. However, I suggest that you discuss this with your Specialist and ask why it is getting set to this value. Perhaps you can get it removed or adjusted.
