Hi everyone

Just purchased a Dell XPS laptop with an ultra high resolution screen 3840 x2160 operating Windows 10 for work as a site architectusing AutoCAD LT 2016

the control tabs are miniscule , although I know what they are so I can still use it, biut when I try to adjust CUI or similar, the text is so comppresed as to be illegible and runs over the line below

I see that this issue with high resolution screens has been knocking around for close on two years now

Is there an Autocad fix for this yet ?

these High resolution screen wil soon be an industry norm , so I would have thought something needs to be done

Andy

Hi

Thanks for this information

I suppose my query is why not ?

It is unlikely that monitors will stay at that level of resolution going
forward. If I buty new equipment , I always buy the current cutting edge as
I know it will be become redundant in due course. Even a standard mobile
smart phone has higher resolution

If AutoCAD cant fix this , I suspect the opposition will

Andy

Andy Burdon

Architect Director

Fine Balance Architecture

The Schoolhouse

1 Grantham Street

Dublin D08 A49Y

+353 86 838 7354
