So... after I posted this I think I found my answer. It looks like I even practically had the command in the subject of the post, rotate3d. If you have anything to add feel free but I think it's taken care of. Thanks.

Rotate 3D in 2004

Hi. I am relatively new to using 3D functions in AutoCAD, 99.9% of what I do is in 2d. I received a file (attached) with 6 flat planes. The problem is, they are vertical, so when you go to a top view, all you see is the edge. I need to rotate them so that you see the flat plane. Note - one of them isn't completely flat, I will have to treat that separately I think.

Anyway, when I use the rotate command, all I can figure out how to do is to spin them around, I can't seem to rotate them so that the flat part faces up. Is there a way to do this in 2004? Thanks in advance.
