When a dimension is too large, it pops out on a leader that is angled (yellow), but I want them to always pop out at 90 degrees (blue) without having to manually move them all.

I am not talking about resizing the dimension...this is for after I have selected a size, but the smaller dimension's text does not fit "in-line"

As far as I can tell they are both the same but one is placed manually. Try this in the Style manager

This may Help.

You can't fight the problem: it is designed to pop the leader from the dimline at an angle. You will need to customize with overrides if you want a perfectly vertical line-leader as far as I can tell.

If you go into Dimension Style -> Under the Text Tab -> Text Alignment Change it to Horizontal that fixes it.

This is what I did to your drawing they all came out at 90.

YES!! It has one downfall, which is that the vertical dimensions will now have horizontal texts, but that is WAY easier to deal with than the angled leaders!!

Thanks you so much!
