Does APPARENT INTERSECTION work? If so, double check for Z values.

Another option would be to activate the intersection OSnap and click on one line when you see the "X..." and hover over the second line and you should see the intersection OSnap indicator at the intersection of the two lines. If that doesn't work, double check for Z values.

If that still doesn't work, post a file with just the two lines in question.

Why is my intersection running osnap not working? I have recently started using autocad 2015 (2d) and am experiencing this for the first time. I set basic running osnaps and purposely select others when I need them. I tab through my running osnaps if the first one shown by autocad isn't what I am after. All lines are on the '0' z axis... so they definitely cross each other. Even when I right click and try to select the intersection osnap it is like I never selected it. Has anyone had this issue?

is there any thickness applied to the line?
