      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Im a CAD newb and have got 2 drawings that are in model space that i need to overlay to compare. Both of them are from an architect (i work for a main contractor) and we have moved a building to suit construction sequencing.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Any help would be much aprieciated.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Xref is the most power way to use and because you're newb as you said i advice you to convert one of your plans or both to BLOCK and then you can compare them as you like.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>XREF is probably the easiest and quickest way of doing it, or you can convert it to a block as stated above, but make sure you paste to original coordinates if you're working to the same coordinates as the architect. It'll save you the trouble of aligning it.</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Manual comparison can be quite tedious and could result in missing stuff, especially in a large or busy drawing. There are programs to help you with this.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
