This might sound stupid but can you just change it to a single attribute? Or perhaps you can have the detail number set to justify from the right and the sheet number to justify from the left.

So our current Section symbol looks like this

This is a block with 2 Attributes in it, one for the detail number and one for the sheet number. I'm trying to combine the 2 attributes into an "Inline" tag like this:

I want to keep them as attributes so that when I double click the block in my drawing, it prompts me to input the value of the 2 attributes. Any way to do this? I'm trying to keep it as one "object" so that the final text result can stay "Middle Center" justified so that my arrow and section line rotates around it nicely.

See attached file.

I'd like to keep it as 2 separate attributes... What happens is when I have a lot of these sections symbols in the same drawing, referencing the same sheet, but different detail numbers, I can easily select all the symbols and change just the Sheet Name (I know I can find and replace, but I'd rather use Attributes).

How about something like this? I didn't take the time to adjust the linework but I think you understand my intent. If the line is hard to control perhaps you could use a wipeout in the attribute too.

Edit your block (BEDIT command), move the second attribute next to the first one, save your block, then INSERT and test it to ensure it does what you want.

Or is there a complication you've not mentioned?

John:

I've thought about this method, but it doesn't keep the entire "string" of text centered in the revolution circle... The center point of "1/A1.1" will have a different center point from "10/A1.1"

I understand the issue. I think that perhaps a visit to the customization forum might get you some more ideas. I tried playing with fields but without success. My intent was to have a field capture the two values and concatenate them but I did not have much success. I am guessing someone in the customization forum might have a better solution for you.

I couldn't sleep thinking about this last night.

Have you considered using sheet sets to use custom properties and views? This might allow you to add fields linked to the sheetset view and made into a block that could be centered in your label.

Here is some information on doing this and I hope to also have a Screencast loaded on the Community today that shows how it might be put to work.
