&lt;P&gt;you can use DRAW ORDER command to control all of your items (see attached)&lt;/P&gt;

      <title>OVERLAYING LINES</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have a couple lines which are over eachother. I need teh white line to be on top .( the lin ewhich represents teh stud). I can NOT see teh option which brings teh object to front.       <description>&lt;P&gt;Just in case your AutoCAD interface is different from what is shown in the previous post and/or you do not have Draw Order, look for Display Order.
