The reason why your text is tiny is that your Dimstyle is using a Textstyle that is set to be annotative with a fixed height.

Create a text style that is NOT set to be annotative and with a height value of 0.00, and then you will be able to control the desired text height within the Dimstyle

Annotative Dimension Issue

Hi All,

Having an issue with a certain drawing. I have a typical dimension style i use for all drawings, but it won't cooperate in this specific drawing.

You will see there are two dimensions clouded in the drawing, the one with readable text was copied from another drawing, the one with tiny text was created in this drawing.

It is an annotative dimension style and an annotative text style. Viewport scale is set to 1"=20 as is the annotation scale. Any ideas why the domension text isn't scaled as you would expect?

Any and all help much appreciated,

rC

Using Civil 3D 2014, but this seemed more of a straight AutoCAD function issue than a Civil3D issue...
