    <description>&lt;P&gt;The tool paletts are a part of the workspace. You can change the workspace by opening palette or closing them. Once you have your workspace set up how you like it, you can save that workspace. Next time AutoCAD opens in that workspace, it will be configured how you want it.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;If the Tool Palettes manager was open when you closed AutoCAD it’s OK. It doesn’t affect the program the next time you launch it.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;There’s has to be something else that’s causing the failure to launch. &lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Would it be possible to describe what you were doing right before you shut down? &amp;nbsp;Be detailed. (You may leave out the part about the Tool Palette being open because that part is unimportant.)&lt;/P&gt;</description>
