rkmcswain, It's a Windows 7 machine, and I was wrong the driver is ATI Firepro V4800. I can try tomorrow morning when the user hasn't made it in yet to log on as another user and see if I can get it to run then.

I have been installing AutoCAD 2016 on users computers and have came across a Fatal Error on one of the users. The warning states: Fatal Error: Unhandled Access Violation Reading 0x0018 Exception at 70e3a3e3h (See attached image) What I've tried already: I have tried uninstalling and re-installing the software and have still been unable to resolve the issue It's gone successfully on 5 other machines so I don't think it is the installer I can't even open AutoCAD before it gets the error (Not caused by a particular drawing) This is a 64 bit machine running windows 7, I don't know the graphics card information off the top of my head but believe it is NVIDIA Quadro K2200. My Next steps: I am going to verify the graphics card and the driver for said card and make sure it is up to date. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

What O/S?
Are all 6 machines identical?

On the one machine where it isn't working, try logging in as a new windows user (one that has not logged on to that machine) - and launch it from that profile.

I tried logging in as another user and I updated the drivers to no avail. I did finally get it working though, Apparently it was trying to use directX11 and was supposed to call upon 9. The following link was a solution for this problem for me if anyone else ever gets the same problem: https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/How-to-make-AutoCAD-run-with-DirectX-9.html
