Hi,

I have a user who, when plotting multiple plans, has AutoCAD who always jumps to the foreground. Because of this he can't continue other work on his computer.

Can you tell me if it's possible to disable this or give me a workaround?

Thank you for your help!

Go to Options and on the Plot & Publish tab check the preferences for background plotting and publishing.

I asked the user. Apparently it's always when he's performing a command in Autocad, Autocad keeps coming to the foreground.

So it's not only with plotting. Still, he also checked the option "background plotting and publishing.", it doesn't make any difference.

PS: it's on Windows 7 Enterprise

Hi,

>> Apparently it's always when he's performing a command in Autocad

Maybe I'm misunderstanding something, but why should AutoCAD stay in the background when the user starts a command?

When the user starts command _LINE AutoCAD is waiting for a first point, it does not make sense to wait in the background.

Other question: how does the user start a command without having AutoCAD already in the foreground?

Back to the plot-command:

How does the user plot mutliple plans, using command _PLOT or command _PUBLISH or any plugin/tool loaded on top of AutoCAD?

Hi,

The user has to much work for now, so he will answer next week.

I'll keep you posted.
