I know there is a lot of information about system requirement for Auto Cad. But this info is often contradictory and overwhelming. I need to work with 3-4 Gb file for modelling and exporting to STL and Obj. Some of these files have taken 30 hours to be exported to stl, in my 32 gb ram HP Omen. So I decided to buy a 128 Gb Ram. But what about the other features, HD, processors and Graphic memory? Any suggestion of a good workstation for the tasks mentioned above?

AutoCAD is the wrong software for your tasks, there isn't enough hardware upgrades (or $$) to do what you wrote too much faster I suspect.

What are you modelling and what are you 3D printing (STL) or is this for another software's needs?

3-4GB is the filesize of DWG-files or STL-files?

Can you show a screenshot of the geometry you are working on so we can give valid suggestions?

3-4GB files are waaaaaaay too big for AutoCAD. I'd be using Inventor, but hell, even at that size I think Inventor would be struggling. What are you exporting that's so big?

I use archeology to model ancient cities. For example, the Inca empire. I model the whole city (trees, houses, landscape, etc). That might have over 4000 objects sometimes.

Fair enough, but I'd be using something that can handle that size. Even just starting off as mass models in Revit might be easier and lighter to do

That is the dwg file. It is usually smaller after I export it to STL. Since the file passed the 1.5 GB limit I haven't been able to export anything or add any other object to the drawing, not even as an external reference with my computer. But I thought that If I've been able to export and handle 1gb file with a my computer, it should be possible to export 3gb file with computers that are many times more powerful.
