I think there is an issue with the bench top shape where it returns inward creating a conflict with your base shapes when lofted. I think you would need to remove portions of the base in order to achieve the front and side views.

I'm not sure that this resolving your modeling issue with lofting rather than more of a practical construction of the shape. The attached dwg shape was made using the base solids you had as a guide and then selective removing areas to blend with the top using the subtract boolean tool.

e

Hello, I have tried combining these 3 solids by loft command to produce a bench but I cannot find a way to do it. Is loft possible in this case?

I tried Loft>Solid>Join multiple edges, error came out - The edges do not meet end to end to form a single cross section. Please help, thank you.

UNION command will do that , but your solid shapes must be attached together . >> Click <<

It would be easier to help if you uploaded your drawing and give an idea of your final shape . There are a couple ways to extend a face of a solid. you could use loft using two shapes and then union the objects, press-pull could be used. I've attached an example file that may help.

Thanks for the reply. Attached below is the dwg file. The shape I would like to form for the bench could not be possible with the union/press-pull command. I wonder how to produce a bench that has the curve as shown in the picture below. The material of the bench to be chosen is concrete.

Add some guide lines between them, the more you have the more accurate shape you'll get when Loft.
