If you set the paper size on ARCH E (36x48) first, the paper size gets bigger. Bigger paper size means we need to adjust the view according to that. When I try to scale the drawing to 3/32"=1' with paper size mentioned above, the view looks to small. It does not fit to the paper size. The default drawing have paper size of 8.50 x 11 inces.

Hello all,

I have a dwg file which is currently have a paper size of 8.50 x 11 inches. However, I want to set up that file to Arch E (36 x48) paper size and 3/32"=1' scale. When I am trying to do that, for some reason the view is not fitting to the viewport. It looks too small when I set it on 3/32"=1' and it looses its scale when I zoom in to fit it up to the viewport. I've attached a file. Can someone tell me how to do it? Thanks.

Hi,

>> I want to set up that file to Arch E (36 x48) paper size and 3/32"=1' scale.

you have first to expand ( resize ) your VP rectangle to Arch E (36 x48) paper size then select a proper scale that can be put all of your dwg elements inside the VP .

You need to Lock your viewport.
