Hi,

>> When I type in "j" it says "unknown command"

This can be an issue with the settings mentioned above (like _INPUTSEARCHOPTIONS) or a defect/incorrect ACAD.PGP file or a loaded app/plugin.

If you have not done too many customization then you can reset the AutoCAD profile to default (>>>details<<<).

My autocad mixes up commands.

For example when I type in "m" for move it almost immediately changes to "offset" or when I type in "J" for for join it says "Unknown command 'VKV'. Press F1 for help".

When I change "PICKFIRST" to "1" (although it was still 1) and I restart the computer the issue is temporally solved until it starts all over again....

Hi Alfred,

It was good until now...

When I type in "j" it says "unknown command" or when I type in "co" it changes to offset. Or when I select an object and type in move and hit enter, I'm asked to select objects.

Brigi

I've done what you suggested first but the issue came back.
So, I've reset autocad to default yesterday but I have a plug-in I had to reinstall. It's called VBexpress and it's for reinforced concrete design.
