tema AutoCAD LT 2020 reduce node on polyline en AutoCAD Forum

I am running AutoCAD LT 2020 and have to convert splines to polylines to output to a cutting machine.

When I convert the splines they have a large number of nodes even when I set it to zero for conversion.

Any way to reduce the number of nodes on a polyline other than deleting them one at a time?

Hi,

>> When I convert the splines they have a large number of

>> nodes even when I set it to zero for conversion.

Less nodes means less accuracy ... and setting the precision to 0 already means your resulting geometry (if the spline is curvy) is already away from the original path.

There exist some tools for AutoCAD, but not for LT.
So I would suggest to manually recreate the path using the polyline with arcs or ask the vendor of the drawing if he can already create the paths as polylines.
