Hi @perrydo

A little more information about the ACU exam. The ACU exam is a Certiport exam, hence why it isn't referenced on the Autodesk site.

Hope this helps.

We currently use an aftermarket software to assist training high school students for Autodesk Certified User (ACU) via Certiport. However, due to funding it's not an option anymore and started looking at Autodesk Learning. However, there are numerous lessons and would like to find one track. One I found is the CAD for Mechanical Design Associate Certification Prep, but would like some feedback if this would be a good fit.

I have only been teaching Fusion for a little over a year, so I don't really understand the differences between Autodesk Certified User (ACU) and the Autodesk Certified Associate (ACA). The ACU doesn't seem to be mentioned on the Autodesk site.

Any feedback/assistance would be appreciated.

Hi @perrydo

Thanks for posting your question. The ACU exam is the first level exam targeted at high school. The Associate exams are aimed at specific job skills. I'd recommend looking at the Introduction to 3D Modeling for Manufacturing course. It's for the Associate exam bit it should cover a lot of the Fusion 360 ACU exam objectives.

Does this help?
