Why does fusion allow duplicate names? I wish it would do like Microsoft does and add (1) at end of name. Or warn that you are trying to save that file that already has that name?

Hi @SuncoastTechnicalCollege

Great question. Since Fusion 360 saves files in the cloud, and each file is given a unique file identifier, beyond the file name. This is why you can have a file with the same name. With that said, I know that this may cause issues. I'll bring this back up to the Fusion Data team.

Hope this helps.
