I think that the "sign-in" badge is too hard to achieve... You must log in 365 days in a row!

Still, 413 users earned it.

BTW, the hardest badge released so far is the Replies. Just 37 users got the level 5.

It is good to recognise users contributions to the forums.

However, I don't know that we need game like badges to show us what we have achieved.

I thought that was the point of the ranking.

"However, you will only receive a notification that you have received a badge for those earned after the launch of badges. Members who have already met the condition for a badge before the badge becomes available in Community will see the badge(s) earned on their profile but will not receive an email or a real-time notification about the badge."

The above section of the FAQ is not correct - I received a whole bunch of emails informing me that I had received some badges with one email badge.

I managed to turn the notifications off for that thankfully - good job in including the ability to turn the notifications off.

I agree. I do find the forums entertaining and often check on the weekends, but some separation from work-life and life-life is important. I think that I PMed you about this Amanda.

Note: I meant to address this reply to rxi.gg. I believe that they figured that out!

The badge names are very bland, and should be swapped for less simplistic terms:
"Liker" --> Positivity / Encouraging / Thankful
Accepted Solutions --> Solver / Helper / Troubleshooter
Streak --> Present / Attendance
Replies --> Engaging / Responsive / Communicative
Conversation Starter --> Sharing / Debater / Speaker

Another point to be made is if each level should not be a simple number, but accompanied by a specific term. For example, in conversation starter: level 1 = Inquirer, level 2 = Sharer, level 3 = Debater, level 4 = Speaker, level 5 = Community Voice.
