I can confirm that Autocad 2025 for Mac hotfix 2025.0.1 did not solve the problem. I will remove, redownload and re-install Autocad to see if that works. Will update this page when I know.

I'm having the same problem in Autocad 2023 for Mac and Autocad 2025 for Mac. It just started happening. Autocad loads up and modelspace and paperspace screens are all red. Just downloading the latest update for Autocad 2025.0.1 right now. Will update this comment if it helps or not.

I uninstalled all versions of AutoCAD for Mac. Downloaded the AutoCAD 2025 Mac including all updates. Installed AutoCAD with the updates and can confirm that the red screen of death is no more. Hopefully this will help anyone experiencing this problem in the future.
