I have a bunch of problems with my current AutoCAD, and I thought I could solve them by copying and pasting part of it into a new drawing. Problem is, when I go to open a template everything is greyed out. What do I do now?

Hi Sharon,

@sharon.reevelamesa wrote:

.... Problem is, when I go to open a template everything is greyed out. What do I do now?

That is because the file format filter is set to DWG:

You need to change it to DWT - select Drawing template (DWT) from File Format dropdown list, then you will be able to select and open Template file.
