Hi all,

I'm experiencing a major issue with my AutoCad.

Some commands are not working at all, neither when I type them out or when I click on the respective icons. Whenever I try, the software says "Unknown Command. Press F1 for Help". These include MATCHPROP, MTEDIT, UNITS, BLOCK EDITOR, and OPTIONS/PREFERENCES. Most of the solutions found online state that you need to change settings in the OPTIONS Dialog Menu to fix the other commands, but I cant open that menu because OPTIONS is one of the commands that need fixing.

I tried resetting Autocad to default several times, as well as uninstall and install anew.

I cannot think of a reason why this happened, other than my subscription was ending, and I renewed it earlier because it was acting up.

Would greatly appreciate any insight on this, as I'm growing pretty frustrated and the support staff I contacted so far was not helpful.

Does it work if you type a underline before the command, for example "_mtedit"?

I was able to solve it by deleting the install folder (Library>Application Support>Autodesk) completely alongside uninstalling. When installing again, the problem wasnt there anymore. Im unsure why this worked as opposed to resetting to default or uninstalling without retaining preferences but oh well.
