Cannot Find Add-a-Plot-Style-Table Wizard

Hello,

I am trying to use an existing PCP file to create a CTB plot style and cannot find the "Add-A-Plot-Style-Table Wizard" that is referenced in every help article I have seen (i.e. https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad-for-mac/learn-explore/caas/CloudHelp/cloudhelp/2015/ENU/AutoCAD-MAC-Core/files/GUID-133D3E2C-C016-4543-A4A9-47B1D21C742D-htm.html)

When I go to the Plot Style Editor and try to import one, it only allows me to select CTB files.

Advice? Thank you!

HI @Anonymous,

I see that you are visiting as a new member to the AutoCAD for Mac forum. Welcome to the Autodesk Community!

So you want to use a STB plot style? Try starting a new drawing based upon one of the template files with "-Named Plot Styles" in the name. Then you can copy/paste your geometry into and then you should be able to use the STB style of your choice.

Thank you! I opened a new drawing from the template with "-Named Plot Styles" at the end and when I went to create a new plot style it would let me import STB files but again not PCP. And still no wizard to be found...

Hi Kate,

There is no "Add-A-Plot-Style-Table Wizard" in AutoCAD for Mac, this feature available only in AutoCAD for Windows.

Unfortunately the knowledge base article and help topic you refer in your post is WRONG. I already submitted feedback about this.

Where is the PCP file coming from? Is it from Revit? I would be happy to do this on my windows AutoCAD if you need help with it.

Yes, I think revit. That would be great but when I just tried to attach it here it says it is not a valid extension to be uploaded!!!

It is not possible to convert PCP file to CTB on Mac.

If you need to convert one - attach it here, I will try to convert it for you.

But I'm not sure if this CTB will work on a Mac.
