Is there a single command I can use to fill any gaps in the geometry and make the surface watertight? Or one perhaps to isolate the problem areas? Also what does it mean when an object intersects itself? Does this refer to the top and bottom parts of the dwg or just the problem surface nut bit?

all best

Luke

I've attached a 3D dwg file made up of a surface and a solid, for some reason I'm unable to convert the surface into a solid or make them into a single object? Can anyone advise on why this might be please?

Luke

There must be no gaps between the surfaces. i have this message '' Solid creation failed, no watertight volume detected. '' !!! also i get '' surface cannot be thickened with specified value. Object intersects itself. ''
