AutoCAD®/AutoCAD LT for Mac® 2019.0.1 hotfix

I have an education license for AutoCAD for Mac 2019. The patch download for 2019 users AutoCAD_Mac_2019.0.1_Hotfix_Combo.dmg will not install into my computer. I get an error message during installation. Can anyone shed some light as to why it will not install? Thank you.

What does the error message say? That would shed light on the problem usually.

Message says:

"The installation failed. The installer encountered an error that caused the installation to fail. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance."

That usually means you need to get a new download file: use the BROWSER DOWNLOAD method to get the update.

Hi Maryann,

If new download will not resolve the problem, I'd suggest you to uninstall AutoCAD, install it using original installation image and then apply the update.
