Does Autocad working on the compatibility of AutoCAD LT 2016 for Mac running Mojave 10.14.x?

Hi Joel,

I cannot say for sure, because I'm not from Autodesk staff, but taking into account the practice of older AutoCAD releases support in new macOS in the past, I can assume 2016 release won't be supported on Mojave.

2019 is the current version on sale now: I would not hold out any hope that Autodesk is going to suddenly and out of character for it from the last 30+years to update a 4-versions back software package.

I see that you are visiting as a new member to the AutoCAD for Mac forum. Welcome to the Autodesk Community!

High Sierra is the latest OS that AutoCAD LT 206 is supported to work upon. I do currently have it installed on Mojave and for the most part it works fine but I would not encourage doing this if you need the reliability and performance you expect with a truly supported application.

Thank you John for the response. How were you able to install it on your Mojave? I am willing to test it on my Mojave as long as i have the installer that runs completely. I have the old cd of my license but installation is not pushing thru. Would you mind sharing the link of the installer? Thank you.

Hi @Anonymous,

I had it on my Mac before I did an in-place OS upgrade to Mojave so I am not positive that the installer will let you install it. To find it, just look on your account page and you should see all the versions you have available.

Thanks Pendean. I saw the 2019 is on sale and its quite tempting. Although im still trying to save my current license because 349 usd is still pricey if you still have one. I appreciate on the feedback. Thanks.

I'm not sure you would be able to run AutoCAD LT 2016 installer on Mojave, but anyway - you can try.
