I am having an issue printing my A3 sheet created in paper space. There is a dashed line which surrounding the sheet which cuts off some of the viewport. How do I widen this so I can take advantage of the whole sheet of paper? (See Screenshots)

Thats your printable area..

You choose a papersize..

the papersize-definition is length x width and non-printable border left/right/up/down

Think about: Not every printer can print up to the outer paper border!

If you want to edit the printable border you have to re-define your papersize definition,

or if you using a standard papersize format, create your own custom papersize (with another name).

Or simply: Choose the well fit papersize, big enough for your wanted viewport, frame and titleblock.

Hi @Anonymous

In the plot manager box, select your printer & the right side of your printer name there is a properties click that button.

where you can modify your top, bottom, left & right printable area of your sheet. I attached the image for your reference.

I think this will solve your issue.

Great day.

Hi @carl.harris.97,

Since you are doing this in AutoCAD for Mac, this will be slightly different than in Windows.

I find the easiest was to do this is to create a Custom paper size and set the margins to 0 mm or 0 in.

I made a quick video that shows this process. I open the Plot window and assign a printer (AutoCAD PDF) and then create a Custom A3 paper size no margins. This is called Full Bleed.

Please select the Accept as Solution button if my post solves your issue or answers your question.
