I have tried to figure this out, but no... So I want to draw section and use section arrows. But I can't find those anywhere? So what is the solution for this? Do I have to just draw them or are they hidden in somewhere?

Is that a solid 3D shape, or just a 2D rectangle?

HI @merja.peltokoski,

AS @maxim_k indicated, you will have to either download some blocks from the Internet or create your own. If you need help in doing that let me know and I can try to assist.

If you are familiar with the Windows version of AutoCAD, you are probably looking for a feature such as Viewbase. Sadly that is not yet part of AutoCAD for Mac. You can still however create this type of Geometry. For Instance the rectangle can be drawn using BOX to create a 3D solid. You can then use flatshot to create a 2D view of the plan view. Next, use Section Plane to "cut" the 3D solid.

When you move to paperspace you can now show a view of the flatshot you created, plus an iso or just the section of the solid.

Let me know if you have questions on any of these steps.

Please select the Accept as Solution button if my post solves your issue or answers your question.
