Not printing 2D elements

Why cannot I print out 2d elements? I have set the viewport to 2D but the paper is blank except the outline boarders.Below is a screenshot of the Layout view. A screenshot of blank print preview PDF file does not help.

That is because Layers, where you put the objects in the drawing were marked as Non-printable in the Layers palette.

I changed them to be printable (see attached) and got the desired result.

Thank you for your help. Can you send me a screenshot of the selection field you are using, I canny find non-printable.
