      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am at Uni and need to open a 2018 auto-cad file. I'm&amp;nbsp;trying&amp;nbsp;to open it on my mac which has 2017 version installed on it and when I try and open it it just says it can't.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;plz help me&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;If you attach the file to a post I can convert it for you if it doesn't have any 2018 unique items in it.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Yes, you can download &lt;A href="https://www.autodesk.com/products/dwg/viewers" target="_blank"&gt;DWG Trueview&lt;/A&gt;. That latest version (2018) should let you convert down to 2013 format.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;No, unfortunately there is not a version that runs on the macOS.&amp;nbsp; You can join the Beta for the next version of AutoCAD for Mac (2018) &lt;A href="https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/autocad-for-mac-forum/want-to-view-the-pre-release-version-of-autocad-mac-join-our/td-p/7312998" target="_blank"&gt;here&lt;/A&gt;. That program is very stable and should open the files so you can save them down.&amp;nbsp; The only draw back is that there are no object enablers for the Mac application so if you have any special objects they might not convert down.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>You choice of a MAC is the limiting factor: the 2018 version for that one is not out yet.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You need to set 2018 to always save down for now, if you only have 2017 on your MAC and cannot access the website for AutoCADMobile you'd better ask a friend with 2018 next to you to convert the file for you.</description>

&lt;P&gt;DWG Trueview will not open a SheetSet. Or are you indicating that once the files have been saved down, that the sheetset no longer works?&amp;nbsp; Did you rename or relocate the files during your conversion?&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Would you like to etransmit the set to me in the original 2018 format so I can see what might be going on?&lt;/P&gt;
