Hi Karrie,

If you don't need text and dimensions in your drawings, then don't bother about DIMSTYLE and STYLE.

BTW, AutoCAD doesn't know anything about mm, cm, m, inch, etc. It knows only about AutoCAD units and measuring systems - Metric and Imperial. So it is up to you to decide does one unit equals 1 mm or 1 cm.

Maxim

Hello,

I've started a drawing and realized part of the way into it that I was using the wrong units. The drawing is currently in mm. Can I convert the entire drawing to cm? Thanks

SCALE command, x10, not an option?
OR do you mean something else?
Note: You will need to reset your DIMSTYLEs and text STYLE settings too.

Well, it was an option but I did not know that until you posted it. I have an extremely low proficiency at AutoCAD. I'm learning. I've converted the drawing to cm ( I think). Would you please explain more about the DIMSTYLE and text STYLE? The drawings i'm making will be printed and used as violin making templates and will have no text or dimensions on them. Is that what you mean by DIMSTYLE and text STYLE?
