Hello John,

Thanks for the quick response and link. I am anticipating an upgrade but wanted to hold off until I was ready to get a new computer (and, thus, a number of other new software licenses) but I'll download a trial and then work out a new contract in the next weeks.

Thanks again!

Hello, I recently upgraded my OS to Mac OS X El Captain and I have AutoCad LT 2013 which was working for about a week after the upgrade but suddenly crashes anytime I open any drawing file. Reading other forums/lists it appears that my old LT shouldn't even work with the new OS? But since this was working for the first week I'm unclear why suddenly it doesn't. For context, I am on a Macbook Pro 2013 model which has always had innumerable issues anyway but I don't think it's a laptop-specific problem on this case. Any input is greatly appreciated!

HI @Anonymous,

I think you have been lucky that it worked on El Capitan at all. I am guessing it was installed prior to the OS upgrade?

Since this is not a tested or supported configuration I don't have anything to offer other than perhaps it is time to get an upgrade? Here is a link to Trial versions that are free for 30 days.
