      <description>&lt;P&gt;When I measure something out on AutoCad 2015 for Mac, the measurements appear with labels on them. For example, instead of just saying 3", the label is d27=3". How can I fix this?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;That is not a "measurement" per se....&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;That looks like a parametric dimension.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>No problem.  I think I used the wrong term myself...  &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;A DIMCONSTRAINT creates sort of a lock on the entity you dimension to maintain the size in the dimension.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Are you trying to place a visible dimension or do you just want to measure something and see the result at the command line?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>What are you using as a learning tool? That's not dimensioning alone that you are creating, you are asking the program do do things with it and the object you dimensioned as well.</description>

&lt;P&gt;I think the case of the troubles you have with dimensioning (measurement as you call it) is ithat you are&amp;nbsp;using wrong button on the Tool Sets palette. I think you are trying to use this one:&lt;/P&gt;
