Hi,

Which lineweight you assigned to the layer where you put the hatch in AutoCAD?
Have you checked lineweight of hatch lines in Illustrator?
Are they the same? I mean in AutoCAD and in AI?
You also can check the color of the hatch lines if it is not black, they may seem thinner than what they really are.

Maxim

I am importing a 2010 AutoCAD file into illustrator. I have my line weights defined ByLayer in AutoCAD, and have the crosshatch on a specific line weight. when I import into illustrator all the line weights are what they should be except the crosshatch, which is very tiny. The boundary of the crosshatch is the correct weight but the actual hatching is not...I have attached a screen shot of what the hatching looks like.

Any help adjusting the line weight of the crosshatch?

I have the hatch on the same layer (default line weight) as the gray lines on the top and bottom if it, but it would appear that the hatch line weight is even smaller than the default also.

It seems that the hatched section seems to import into illustrator as some sort of object. It doesn't tell me a line weight for that, even if I expand and try to select the lines themselves. The default line weight in illustrator is .709pt

It would seem that the change needs to be made in autocad prior to illustrator?

Explode hatches in AutoCAD before importing DWG in Illustrator.
For some reason when AI imports native AutoCAD hatches, their lineweights changes to 0.

Maxim
