Hi all,

I really hope someone can help me. Ive been working in Autocad 2016 for mac drawing up some plans. I found that some lines that was drawn close to a inserted block (I later realized it only happens close to a inserted block, so i thought this might have something to do with the problem, but it might not be the case) are not recocnized as lines, seeing that neither the offset or the trim function invoving these lines or extend function towards these lines would work on them. Also the snap functions does not snap to the end point or perpendicular point on these lines. The line where drawn (and re drawn) with the normal line command. the lines are visible and can be deleted.

Please help.

Welcome to Autodesk Forums!

Hi,

Please verify that the lines you are mention are planar - the start and end points of them has the same Z coordinate. If you draw in 2D, than they should be equal 0 (zero) in the current coordinate system.
It could be so that the lines looks planar, but in fact they are "in 3D".

Maxim
